A Dash of Black Girl Magic in Every Review
So while I was away at Katsucon, Voltage Inc released the final route in their newest (at least for the English market) app, Dangerous Seduction. I’m not gonna lie, but I am not a huge fan of the mature romance options like Kentaro Inui, so I went into this route not…

Confused and unable to control her newly awakened powers, Tsubasa must chooses a partner to help her acclimate to her new reality.…
Be My Princess is one of my all time favorite Voltage games, I have played each of the routes in this game numerous times over the years and they never get old. So, because I’m a bit of a nostalgia kick and because today, Jan. 31st is the birthday of my favorite prince,…
I know I said that Keiichiro’s route would be the last one I played in Bad Boys Do It Better, but then that last Voltage Sale happened and I wound up buying Yu’s main story. I still refuse to buy Akira’s route, I just can’t bring myself to spend money on it, even during…
When I first saw that Voltage had skipped the sexy doc’s route I was pissed, I have been waiting for a new route to be released since I finished Arimura’s. So, imagine my surprise when I saw that Voltage decided to release Asuka Hino’s route first! Asuka Hino was so…
Bacchikoi is an 18+ PC BL visual novel from Black Monkey Pro an international BL artist circle. The game tells the story of a first year transfer student, Toshu Kanada, after he joins the baseball team at his new school. There he meets his new teammates, Ichiru Yanai and Masaru Nakahara and the trio…
The internet is home to some truly bizarre stuff, so when I saw images of handsome man’s head superimposed on a horse’s body, I laughed along with the rest of you all and didn’t really think much of it… In fact, I think I assumed it was some ridiculous fan-made…
So it’s no secret that this was the guy I was most looking forward to pursuing in the game. I have a thing for the cold, emotionless characters. Maybe it’s the challenge of breaking down their walls that sets my fangirl heart aflame or maybe I’m secretly a masochist. Whatever…
First I should probably say that I don’t usually go for the arrogant types that Voltage seems to be hellbent on shoving down our throats all the time. In fact I tend to avoid them all together. Full blown jerks tend to rub me the wrong way, but somehow I…
There I was minding my own business, browsing Twitter, when I saw that Voltage had finally decided to release a brand new app, Dangerous Relationship! So I immediately dropped everything and downloaded the game from the App store!! So first things first, the art is a bit different from their…
Like the title says, Voltage Inc’s newest free to play mobile app, Liar! Uncover the Truth (aka Doubt: Who is the Lying Man?) is now hosting it’s first ever event until December 9th! The event, Gossip or Truth!? -My Man’s a Celebrity- features the celebrity liars: famous fashion designer, Joe Yazawa; popular mystery novelist, Kazuma Kagami; and…
When I finished writing up all of the Liar Routes, I said I’d write reviews for the Lovers Routes too. Well here I am finally making good on that promise! Actually I was waiting for Voltage to release Mr. Right’s Lovers Route before I started in on these reviews. I…
This game was originally on my Summer Game Playlist, but one thing led to another and I never got around to actually playing it before the end of the summer. If I’m being honest, I never intended to get through that list in the first place since I have a habit of…
Released in 2012, Always Remember Me is a PC English visual novel, produced by Winter Wolves. The game follows a young woman who finds herself having to win back her boyfriend after he loses his memories after a motorcycle accident. Like I said in my C14 Dating review a little while ago,…
We started this journey with ten “perfect” guys, each more impressive than the last…But, nine of the ten are dirty rotten liars, despicable men with no qualms about bending the truth to suit their needs… (The guys are not in order) We unmasked nine liars, exposing them for the scum that…
Here it is the very last liar! We started this journey with ten guys that seemed too good to be true… wealthy businessmen, international sports stars, and more. But, the thing is when something appears to be too good to be true, chances are that it is… Nine of the ten…
So with all of the Liar! Uncover the Truth reviews I’ve been writing lately, it might be hard to believe that I’ve also been playing another game… Yup, I have been playing Ebi-Hime‘s most recent commercial visual novel, This World Unknown! Shocking, I know, Liar! has literally been taking up all of my time lately, but…
Finally, Voltage has decided to go back to their roots with Liar 8! After the rather tame lies of the last two (by all means disagree with me if you want), I was expecting something much more forgivable, but nope, the 8th Liar is a despicable dude (and I love…
Voltage is really pulling out the big guns with these last few Liars! We’ve had an adulterer, a gambler, a gangster, and now a drug addict?! I’m actually afraid to see what Liars 8 and 9 have in store for us… This time around there were four potential Liars to…
*sobs* I’m sorry ya’ll but this liar reveal hit me kind of hard, I really wanted him to stick around a bit longer! *weeps* Give me a moment… *ahem* So somehow or another Liar! turned into an episode of Married to the Mob and as much as I want to…
I didn’t think anything could top the 4th Liar trying to sell the MC to pay off his gambling debts, but Voltage managed to surprise me yet again!. This time around there were three potential Liars to choose from, Kunio Muroi, Haruichi Mamiya, and Kazumi Kagami; and I can say…
So far the MC has had to deal with mama’s boys, raging lunatics, creepy fanboys, and now a gambling addict! After the shenanigans of the other Liars I was prepared for the worst and Voltage exceeded my expectations…this guy is despicable! This time around there were three potential Liars to choose from,…
I have been sucked into Voltage Hell yet again… Right after I finished writing my review for Dui, Voltage up and released the main story and epilogue for yet another Department of Punishments god, Krioff. And we all know that I’m a fan of the Punishments gods, so without any…
I wanted to respect Voltage’s wishes to keep spoilers to a minimum so I waited a bit, before doing individual character reviews… But, it’s been a few days and most of the folks who want to play the game have pretty much already started playing… So I figured it was finally…
So, Voltage Inc. just put out a new free to play mobile app, Liar: Uncover the Truth. Which is a cross between their previous titles, My Forged Wedding and True Love Sweet Lies wrapped in a Phoenix Wright bun. To be honest I’m not a huge fan of freemium games and apps. So I was planning to pass…
If you guys remember, Isami Kondo was one of the routes I was most looking forward to in this game! My usual go to are tsunderes and megane intellectuals, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself drawn to the mature types more and more. Well, in Era of Samurai:…
Mystic Messenger is a free to play real time mobile game from Cheritz, the company behind PC otome games Dandelion- Wishes brought to you and Nameless- The one thing you must recall. In the game while looking for a new game in the app store, the MC (you) accidentally download a strange messenger app.…
