Let’s Show Our Support for When the Shutter Stops!!

Hey hey Heroes, Travelers, and Wandering NPCs, I’m back with another crowd funding campaign!! There’s a Kickstarter campaign for an upcoming mystery detective visual novel, When the Shutter Stops that I think you guys should definitely check out! There are less than a month left in the campaign and they need a little help hitting their goal! The campaign ends on October 23rd, 2018!

For those of you new, here, Let’s Show Our Support posts highlight current crowdfunding campaigns for indie games (usually VNs and OELVNs). I give you guys the basic rundown of the game and the perks of supporting the game’s campaign, as well as links to all the relevant game related pages and sites.

I am a sucker for detective and investigative adventure games, and When the Shutter Stops definitely puts me in the mind of adventure games like Cing’s Hotel Dusk series and Capcom’s Ace Attorney franchise. And then the Kickstarter page even compares the game to the classic noir film The Maltese Falcon and one of my all time favorite films Chinatown, so let’s just say I am more than a little hyped to see this project become a reality!

Let’s Show Our Support for Reimei no Gakuen!!

Hey hey Heroes, Travelers, and Wandering NPCs, I’m back with yet another exciting Kickstarter campaign for an upcoming modern fantasy romance otome game, Reimei no Gakuen that I think you guys should definitely check out! It’s still pretty early on in the campaign, but, they are almost at their goal!

This is Raikon Kitsune’s first ever game, and I must say I am impressed with the quality of her content. She really knows how to make an entrance in what promises to be a very intriguing modern fantasy!

Let’s Show Our Support for Wishes in Pen: Chrysanthemums in August!!

Hey hey Heroes, Travelers, and Wandering NPCs, it’s been a LOOOOONG time since I wrote one of these (bear with me while I get back into the swing of things), but there’s a Kickstarter campaign for an upcoming historical romance otome game, Wishes in Pen: Chrysanthemums in August that I think you guys should definitely check out! There are less than 10 days left in the campaign and they are almost at their goal!

For those of you new, here, Let’s Show Our Support posts highlight current crowdfunding campaigns for indie games (usually VNs and OELVNs). I give you guys the basic rundown of the game and the perks of supporting the game’s campaign, as well as links to all the relevant game related pages and sites.

I am a sucker for historical media, so when I saw this campaign I was over the moon! The game appears to be in the same vein as other historical themed otome games, such as Two-Five’s Yo Jin Bo and Idea Factory’s Hakuoki franchise.

Let’s Show Our Support for My Magical Demon Lover: A BL Dating Sim

Hey hey Heroes, Travelers, and Wandering NPCs, it’s been a LOOOOONG time since I wrote one of these (bear with me while I get back into the swing of things), but there’s a new crowd funding campaign over on Indiegogo for an upcoming BL dating sim, My Magical Demon Lover from Yaoi Press Games.

Y’all know how I feel about BL games, so when Yamila emailed me about the game, I knew I just had to whip something up! The Yaoi Press team is currently looking to raise funding to help with the current production schedule and to expand on the content of the game.

Chess of Blades

Let’s Show Our Support for “Chess of Blades” A BL Visual Novel (Relaunched)!!

Edit (6/29): The Kickstarter for this game was successful at meeting its funding goal. The final funding amount was $6,738 with 234 backers! The game now has a tentative release date of October/November 2017!

I am super late with this post, I seriously meant to have it up weeks ago, but better late than never, am I right? Back in March Argent Games launched a Kickstarter campaign for their second BL visual novel Chess of Blades, however they were unable to raise the necessary funding by their April deadline… so, they took a step back to reevaluated the project and I am happy to say that they are giving Kickstarter another go!! So, if you missed out on supporting the first campaign now is the time to show your support!!

In the time between the first campaign and the current one, Argent Games has been hard at work bringing polishing Chess of Blades into something spectacular! New characters, improved artwork and more await in this upcoming BL title!
