Hey hey Blerdy Tribe! Anime Expo 2022 has been full of amazing announcements–I’m still buzzing from Aksys Games otome reveals—and now publisher MangaGamer is here with a surprise for BL fans! From parade, the developers of NO, THANK YOU!!! and Room No. 9, comes a dark fantasy-flavored action BL game: Lkyt.

The end is nigh.

A barren wasteland at the edge of the Earth is home to demons that have destroyed the world. There are those who have chosen to stay behind in these desecrated lands, dedicating themselves to resisting the demon threat.

They are the Seaside Nation.

By their code, they spend their peaceful days fortifying themselves against the demons. Ancient legends are all that remain of the Day of Despair, and its second coming was thought to be far in the future… But one night, warning bells ring out through the capital.

Why is this happening?

And why now?

Our young hero will find the answer in a battle to determine the fate of the world…

While initially hesitant, Sumi eventually agrees to take the AI named RE614 into his home, but while it looks and acts like his deceased older brother at it’s core it is still just a machine. What kind of impact will RE614 have on Sumi and his family? Will it help Sumi finally learn to live with his grief?

Sentimental Trickster BL Game Review

Sentimental Trickster is drama heavy slice-of-life boys love visual novel developed by Lovenuts and published by Y Press Games. In the game you play a Haru, a college student who has left his small town life for the big city in hopes of getting a new start.

First Impressions: Doki Doki Dollmaker BL Game Demo Review + KS Campaign

Doki Doki Dollmaker is an upcoming slice-of-life comedy boys love game developed by Karitsa, with art by Deji (who I LOVE). In the game you play as a Lyle, a young man still coming to terms with the loss of his parents. To help cope with his grief, Lyle makes five dolls who through a little magic, suddenly come to life—so it’s basically a BL version of Nameless the one name you must recall.

A Kickstarter campaign for the game was launched a short while ago and to go along with that a short demo was released! This is going to be a commercial release and the final version of the game will be $20. I was curious about the concept and I gave the demo a go and it’s super cute!  So here are my thoughts on the demo!!

Game Details

  • Comedy | Fantasy | Boys Love
  • Where to Play:  Windows, Mac, Linux
  • Demo Length: 30 minutes of gameplay
