Hey Blerdy Tribe! It’s the end of yet another month, so it’s time for the Blerdy Otome Monthly Recap! For the shortest month of the year, February has been a bit of a whirlwind for me. I had a lot of great opportunities come my way this month. I had the chance to participate in the Farming February charity event over on Twitch, where I helped raise funds for No Kid Hungry. The same week I participated in the Aksys Games Variable Barricade release day stream with some awesome otome fans (big shoutout to everyone who came out, I was nervous as heck and seeing friendly folks in the chat made everything so much more relaxed). And, I was invited to participate in a big project for later on in the year! On top of that I hit some pretty big milestones: 700+ followers on Twitch and 4K followers on Twitter! There’s still 10 more months left in the year, so I’m excited to see what else is in store for Blerdy Otome in the future!
As always there’s a lot more on the horizon in March, but before we dive into the new month, let’s take a look back at the month of February here at Blerdy Otome!
Favorite February Post
The Nintendo Switch has become the definitive otome hub after the “death” of the PS Vita. Many of the bigger otome publishers like Aksys Games and Idea Factory are releasing their otome localizations exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. But, despite it’s popularity, there are still a lot of gamers who have yet to invest in the console–but does that mean they should miss out on the most recent otome boom in the West? Heck no!

I usually just go with the flow when it comes to content here on Blerdy Otome, so it’s kind of hard to pin down what to expect each month. Not only will this hold me accountable, but it will also give you all an idea of what to expect to see in the month ahead.
