[News] Voltage Inc Will Shut Down AmeMix Apps in June!

lovestruck.png

It’s been a few weeks since Voltage launched their new portal app Lovestruck, the hub of their English language Amemix titles. And, despite the initial fan backlash, it seems like Lovestruck is here to stay. Voltage is also planning on moving forward with their plan to phase out the individual Amemix Apps (Astoria Fates Kiss, Gangsters in Love, and Castaway: Love’s Adventure) in favor of the new app as stated in a special announcement from the developers on April 17th.

Thankfully, Voltage was kind enough to give us a heads up this time around so that players could properly adjust to the transition. You can read the official announcement from Voltage from the Official Lovestruck Tumblr account or any of Voltage Inc’s social media portals, however I will still outline the changes below:

[News] Info about Voltage USA’s new Lovestruck App & My Thoughts…

It seems Voltage Inc has made another questionable decision concerning their line of mobile otome games and let’s just say the fandom (myself included) is not pleased… It’s a shame because this news has almost completely overshadowed the release of their newest Voltage USA app Love & Legend

Yesterday (March 1st) Voltage Inc announced that they would be moving their AmeMix line of mobile games to a new combined portal app, called Lovestruck! All current and future AmeMix titles and stories will be released through the new app, and after a few month (Voltage has yet to make an official announcement) all of their individual AmeMix titles will be removed from the Google Play Store and App Store. This only effects Voltage USA’s AmeMix titles (Astoria Fates Kiss, Gangster in Love, and Castaway: Love’s Adventure) and NOT their Japanese based Visual Novel titles!

Astoria Fates Kiss | Hydra Season 2 Review: My Lover is an Ice Cold Criminal

It’s taken me awhile, but I’m finally jumping back into the world of Greek gods and godly monsters. While season 1 focused on developing the relationship between Hydra and the MC. Hydra’s season 2 Astoria Fates kiss stories focused on the MC and Hydra’s attempts to maintain the relationship. Over the course of the season we see the pair tackle obstacle after obstacle as they learn to trust in themselves and each other.

It’s been a few months since the Hercules incident, and the MC’s life is definitely on the up and up, both professionally and privately. That is until our plucky MC takes a case that will shake Olympus to its very core! If you want to see what I had to say about Hydra’s Season 1, click HERE!

Astoria Fates Kiss | Hydra Sub Story: Private Lies

So this is a special post just for you guys, before I dive into Hydra’s Season 2 stories! So, instead of a full blown review, I’m going to cover Hydra’s first sub story, Private Lies. This story takes place shortly after the events of Hydra’s season 1 main stories and essentially takes the place of a typical epilogue. The story is three chapters long and comes with it’s own special image.

Top 5 Best Voltage Games

Voltage Inc has certainly come up with so many amazing games, these are the cream of the crop the games I could play over and over again without getting bored. This is part two of a suggested post series, for the first part go, HERE. So this was a hard list to come up with, I enjoy different aspects of each and every Voltage Inc game for different reasons. These games are on here because of my feelings about the entire game, and in no way a reflection of the individual characters in the game.

My Top Ten Favorite Voltage Guys

Okay so this started out as a Top Five List…but I just couldn’t narrow it down to just five guys. So, I scrapped that idea and instead expanded the list to My Top Ten Favorite Voltage Guys. These guys are my personal favorites, and this was by far the hardest list to compile. I like each of these guys for different reasons and it was really hard ranking them from 10 to 1, they are all just so wonderful *sigh*.

control your emotions

As with any Top Ten List, this list is based on my opinion, so please put away the torches and pitchforks, because your favorite guy didn’t make the list…Remember this is my list, not yours. However, if you feel like there is a guy that should be on this list, leave a comment on this post, tell me about him.

Astoria Fates Kiss | Hades Season 1 Review: The Guy I Kinda Like is a Greek God

Because of some impromptu snow days I was finally able to play Astoria Fates Kiss Hades season 1 stories. And OMG, it was everything I could have hoped for and more! Hades is such a gentleman and I found myself swooning over him just as much as the MC (maybe even more). I don’t think I have anything bad to say about Hades. I had my eye on him since the beginning, so maybe I’m biased.

Astoria Fates Kiss | Hydra Season 1 Review: The Guy I Kinda Like is an Ice Cold Criminal

Initially I had some reservations when Voltage announced that they’d be revamping their Voltage USA line of games as AmeMix. In the past I had found their other English games, lackluster at best and not much to my taste. So, when Astoria Fates Kiss (formerly Labyrinths of Astoria) was released I didn’t pay it much mind. But, after a while curiosity got the better of me, and I soon found myself binge playing the game in one sitting. At the time Hydra was the only appealing character available.
