The life of an office wage slave offers very few pleasures, with lunchtime being the small oasis of peace in the midst of the usual drudgery. Most places don’t give you much time for lunch breaks, so they’re usually a mad dash to grab something quick from a local shop. Or if you’re trying to save a bit of bread and time, you might choose to make something at home and bring that in instead. So you spend hours at home slaving over a stove to craft a delicious meal to take in the next day.
Now, anyone that has ever worked in an office knows that the office fridge is a lawless place where the guarantee of safety is not always guaranteed. But, you have hope as you put your lunchbox in there anyway—with your name on it—and head off to bang on a keyboard until lunchtime. Only to come back a few hours later to discover that SOME ASSHOLE STOLE YOUR FOOD!

The devs take a real world problem and turn it up to eleven, giving players the chance to get their revenge in ways that would probably land you a one way ticket to jail IRL—but in a game, let your pettiness run free!

Because, if someone is bold enough to steal your lunch in broad daylight, they best be ready for the consequences! Someone Stole My Lunch offers players the chance to give into some of our more unhinged revenge fantasies and it’s just as funny as you’d imagine.
What’s the best way to catch an office rat? Rat poison of course! In one of the outcomes you can choose to sprinkle a little on your lunch to teach the thief a lesson and it’s surprisingly effective… that is if you’re okay with an attempted murder charge. But, if you’re not into murder there are several non-murder-y choices you can make to catch the jerk who keeps stealing your lunch (with mixed results). Each option has its own set of consequences that range from jail to actually getting fired from your job. And not gonna lie, no matter how bad the outcomes were, I was 100% prepared to choose violence again and again, and again.
Someone Stole My Lunch has several endings to unlock, and trust me you will want to get them all—each is more ridiculous than the last! But, the true surprise twist is when you actually meet your lunch thief and the man is something else… and yes, you can romance him. But, at what cost.

YES! Someone Stole My Lunch is a laugh out loud funny short visual novel that will have you in stitches as you attempt to get your revenge on your mysterious lunch thief. This is a game that you’ll want to play over and over again to unlock all the endings and see just how unhinged this protagonist can get! Trust me it’s worth it, especially Ending #3 (you’ll thank me later).
