Department of Wishes Character Reviews
In Star Crossed Myth, you can romance gods based on the 12 zodiac signs, each of whom work for either the Department of Wishes or the Department of Punishments. For the Switch and Steam release, Voltage split the game into two separate games (Department of Wishes and Department of Punishments). Probably to maximize their profits.
Star Crossed Myth – Department of Wishes contains the stories for the following characters:
Overall Thoughts on Star Crossed Myth Department of Wishes
So, like I mentioned in my Department of Punishments review, I really wasn’t feelin’ the Department of Wishes gods. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice and pretty to look at, but they give off “I’m better than you jock” vibes. Sorry, not sorry. So, I didn’t really play a lot of their routes in the original mobile app, but I can definitely admit when I am wrong. While they aren’t my favorite routes, I did really like most of them once I did actually play their routes (Leon still kinda rubs me the wrong way).

You’d think granting wishes to humans would be a cake walk, I mean what’s the worst that can happen, these dude literally make dreams come true! But, y’all I did not expect these routes to go this hard. For gods that grant Wishes, these boys have some issues and these routes will hit you in the feels! Huedhaut and Tauxolouve’s routes especially were heavy handed with the emotional damage. Like damn, let these boys be happy.

There is a nice mix of personalities among the Department of Wishes gods, so if you’re looking for variety, these routes have you covered. While I liked how emotional the Department of Wishes routes were, I still have to say I liked the Punishment routes a bit more. But, doesn’t mean Wishes isn’t worth playing, in fact I HIGHLY recommend playing these routes (especially the two I mentioned). Like most Voltage Inc games the routes play out over several stories and seasons and the Switch and Steam ports cover the Season 1 and 2 stories, which is where they end in the Love 365 app. So you canāt go wrong getting Star Crossed Myth on any of the available platforms.
Star Crossed Myth is one of my favorite Voltage Inc. games so it is definitely worth playing if you have the time on any of the available platforms!
