Hey Blerdy Tribe! It’s a new week and with it a new recap! I’ve been streaming on Twitch for a little over a year and I have been looking for ways to connect the channel with the Blerdy Otome siteāand thus this recap. So here is what I’ve been up to over on Twitch, so clips of my streams, and the new streaming schedule! If you like chill vibes and fun games come on by: twitch.tv/blerdyotome.
Games on Stream: Oct 23 – 29, 2022
Scarlet Hollow

Scarlet Hollow keeps delivering on the creepy vibes. This atmospheric horror always has me on the edge of my seat waiting for what new horrors the writers have in store. Last week they hit us with more Ditchlings, another appearance from dead/not-dead Wayne, and the latest terror…the Tommyknockers. This week I’ll be diving into Episode 3, and IDK if I’m ready.
Midnight Cafe

This was a random pick, the art is pretty and it gives me Coffee Time vibes. But, then I played it and y’all the writing in this was awful. It was on the unreadable side of things, which is super disappointing, because it has everything else going for it. The ideas are good, but Midnight Cafe needs a lot of polishing.
Paradigm Paradox

Another otome game localization, another release day stream! If you read my review you know that Paradigm Paradox was just “okay” for me, but playing it on stream was a whole different experience. I let chat guide the playthrough to see if we were heroes or villains and we were most definitely on the baddies’ side. And while we weren’t feeling the boys, everyone loved, Lize! Lize is best girl! Also, Otomate totally dropped the ball with the animation, so I fixed it!
Salvus: Aries

Everyone and their mom has been talking about Salvus: Aries so I gave it a go on stream this past week… and it is totally worth the hype. The devs joined us for the stream and gave us a few behind the scenes info, like the measurements of the love interests š. This is a gorgeous game, with an interesting premise, and I’m definitely going to be checking this out again when the full release drops in a few years. Of the LIs, Orias is my fave, there is just something about tsun bun LIs that really gets the blood pumping.
Indie Games – Parasite in Love/#Influenced

It’s spooky season, so I played some spooky indie games! Saturday was a double feature of Parasite in Love and #Influenced and they were equally scary in different ways. Though, I’m not gonna lie, the brain eating parasite is one of my top 10 romance love interestsāthat thing was creepy, but surprisingly sweet and considerate for something that was literally killing the MC. Where can I get one?
On the flip side, #Influenced was a body horror nightmare that just kept escalating… I don’t care how many followers I have, I refuse to cut off a finger to gain 2K new ones… it’s not worth it!
