Synopsis

Heroine: Yolca Yulewood

A girl buried as dead.
Her feeble body houses a sharp resolve, and she travels the world using the beauty she inherited from her mother as a shield.
She respects her philanthropist parents, and longs to use her own assets for the benefit of others.

Though she’s done everything she can to return to House Yulewood, very few believe their blood flows in her veins.
Due to her lack of strength, she carries knives and stun guns for self-defense. Due to her impressive stock, those in her inner circle wonder if she’s an arms dealer.

As a true realist, she staunchly believes she can’t reach her ideals without getting her hands dirty. Contrary to that, though, she’s distressed by the tears of others.

Love Interest: Tilkett Halmshaw (VA. Nobuhiko Okamoto)

A cheerful and light-hearted young doctor. He’s never without a friendly smile, but he’s actually a former delinquent.
Even now that he’s turned over a new leaf, his old life still peeks through in some of his mannerisms.

His Gift gives him control of his own blood, allowing him to both heal and harm with it.
Though his powers require self-injury, he doesn’t hesitate at the pain.
If anything, the elation he feels at helping others harbors a hidden danger.

The heroine’s parents supported the orphanage he lived at, so he knows who she is.
The admiration he felt for her then is just as strong now, and he yields all too easily to her fake smile or crocodile tears.

Love Interest: Kanoa Fortis (VA. Kohei Amasaki)

A boy declared to be the strongest Grimnal.

His wind-manipulation Gift lets him transform even his own body into the wind.
He’s used his power to hunt down countless Grimnals, but he remains nothing but an object of fear to the populace.
As a result, he’s forced to wear restraints on his fingers when out in public.

Due to a warped personality that favors a sharp tongue and prickly words, he’s very bad at conveying how he really feels.
Though he often clashes with the heroine, calling her a “frump” and more, he appreciates the conviction she has to fight with the hand she’s been dealt.

Love Interest: Heath Crescent (VA. Hikaru Midorikawa)

A housekeeper blessed with overwhelming beauty.
Every day is busy, filled with handling Vy-xen’s household affairs and serving multiple wealthy households for work.

He recognizes his own beauty as an unshakable truth, and perfectly wears the maid’s uniform originally offered as a joke.
His expression is always immovable and indifferent, and he harbors extreme disgust for the greed and depravity of humans.
His Gift is nullification. He neutralizes all Grimnal attacks.

Even the walls of ice around him seem to slowly melt away in the heroine’s presence.
To her alone, he displays a pure devotion he’s never shown to anyone else.

Love Interest: Eugene (VA. Takuya Sato)

A sociable and understanding trader. He lives uninhibited and honest to his own desires.
That cheerfulness and a deep sense of sympathy bring both vigor and harmony to Vy-xen.

Though he pours his affection into others equally, a poison lurks within.
All he reveals about his Gift is that he’s lost it.

He shows no interest in the heroine’s mission or her filial devotion, only showing an unhealthy concern for her the moment she fails and falls to despair.
Sweet whispers and mischievous fingers have her at his mercy.

Love Interest: Orsem Helhand (VA. Tomoaki Maeno)

A lawyer who walks in the shadow of the law. He’s a skilled negotiator, as capable as he is callous.
He speaks politely with everyone, a gentle smile always gracing his features.
But his behavior is haughty and high-handed; even government officials shrivel in his presence.

His Gift is precognition. As it’s not very precise, he only rarely makes use of it.
He serves Vy-xen not with the power he borrowed from the witch, but with intellect and violence.

He maintains a superficial decorum with the heroine, but he holds no compassion for her.
At times, he even displays a fierce desire to torment her.

  • Banish the Darkness by Repairing –The characters’ hearts are shrouded in darkness, and depending on your choices or the story’s progress, that darkness may change shades. If the darkness maintains its control over them, you’ll never be able to save them from their fated ruin.
    • Depending on their Repair Rate, the story will lead to multiple endings, such as the “Sad Love Ending”, “Despair Ending”, and “Happy Ending”.
  • Unravel the Heart with Mental Appraisal – What drove him mad? What has made him suffer? Just as you were to appraise an artwork, use this system to trace the characters’ pasts, tour their hearts, and study their emotions to figure out the truth.
  • Reveal the Truth with Art Appraisal – The genius artist Ambrose left countless artworks behind. But wicked witches lurk within these beautiful pieces of art, their presence manifesting as errors from the original piece. In this puzzle-solving system, the heroine uses writings about these artworks to find the hidden errors and ascertain where the witch is hiding.

AmuLit is Voltage Inc.’s console games brand. The name AmuLit, a combination of the English words Amulet and Literature, is meant to inspire and protect players. Lit is also representative of the light within, and the “i” is a nod to “Ai,” the Japanese word for love. All of these aspects of the name represent a hope that players will discover and weave their own stories, and thereby make their own luck in life.
