Otome Fam, this one goes out to the PC gamers! The thrilling crime noir otome game, Despera Drops is now available on Steam! Aksys Games released the title back in March on the Nintendo Switch and now D3P and Red Entertainment have decided to make Despera Drops accessible to more otome fans with this new Steam release! The Steam port of Despera Drops will retain the Aksys Games localization (I had some concerns after reading the Steam page), so fans can enjoy the same experience as Switch players. Despera Drops is 20% on Steam until June 10th–so if you’ve been on the fence, now is the time to get it!
About Despera Drops
In the summer of 2028, Mika Amamine, studying abroad at a university in Bologna, Italy, visits Rome for a short trip with a friend to celebrate the end of exams. However, during that trip, she encounters a murder incident and is subsequently arrested as a suspect. While being transported in a police vehicle, it suddenly overturns in an accident, freeing Mika along with six other criminals and they all become fugitives. Mysterious attackers appear, targeting the unique powers that Mika possesses, and the group finds themselves pursued by both the police and yet another nefarious party. I just found out this was coming on Steam yesterday! And it wasn’t even listed on upcoming on Steam. Super happy as a pc gamer, we get crumbs but at least we’re getting something 😭
They were very sneaky with it! I’m glad more people will get a chance to play now that it’s on Steam. I hope more otome publishers take note and put their games on Steam too!
