About Despera Drops
In the summer of 2028, Mika Amamine, studying abroad at a university in Bologna, Italy, visits Rome for a short trip with a friend to celebrate the end of exams. However, during that trip, she encounters a murder incident and is subsequently arrested as a suspect. While being transported in a police vehicle, it suddenly overturns in an accident, freeing Mika along with six other criminals and they all become fugitives. Mysterious attackers appear, targeting the unique powers that Mika possesses, and the group finds themselves pursued by both the police and yet another nefarious party. The secret hidden within Mika’s powers, the identity of the attackers, and the truth behind the murder incident that started it all… Can they unravel these mysteries and reclaim a normal life?

I can’t tell you the sheer despair I felt when I realized, way too late, that the physical edition will release a full month later in Europe than digital/N.A. physical… :-ccc (guess who’s been expecting this game most of *anything* this year and placed an order for physical on the EU store as soon as preorders opened, thanks for the timely announcement by the by ?? ^^;)
I feel a bit like a kid who’s been sent into timeout right in the middle of a birthday party rn but still, bookmarking this for a happier time (i.e. April :D).
Will you also be uploading a review? I’m even more scared of spoilers than usual, considering, but at the same time I really wanna ask whether you enjoyed you playthrough. There are so many aspects of this game that have me intrigued/excited at first glance, be it the tone, the cast, the art, the apparently massive playtime, Sally’s route… and I really hope that this one is as fun as it looks!
(Probably I’m just being overdramatic and ought to play what’s in my backlog instead of being a puppet to FOMO but there really hasn’t been much fanfare or explanation as to this EU delay. I do hope it doesn’t become A Thing.)
