Moonless Moon Releases on Steam August 8th

KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO’s music-themed text adventure “Moonless Moon” will make its way to Steam on Thursday, August 8th 2024. To kick-off the release announcement, a new launch trailer has been released with more details about the game, including the composers and vocalists as well as the titles of the songs that will be included in the game.

About Moonless Moon

Yomichi is a normal girl living an average student’s life—except for one thing: sometimes, after sunset, she finds herself transported into worlds that seem unreal. Be it a desert on the moon, a coffee shop inside of a tunnel, or an island in the sky, she enjoys her time in these new places, making friends each time. However, this leaves her with some questions.

Do I really have to live in my daytime world?

Is that life, the one where I go to school each day, the real one?

In this story, she tries to find out more about the worlds she visits and what they mean for her.

The Characters

Yomichi, the girl who travels from world to world, and the many unique friends she makes in the process.

  1. Aaaah this looks so fun! Fingers crossed to oblivion for the translation to be nuanced enough to do what seems to be a pretty interesting experience justice!
    I *love* music-based games, and I wish we’d get more of them, honestly. (I was a rhythm game fiend back in the day, and I’m definitely the type to love a weak game just because it has a nice soundtrack…). This is very much my jam, pun intended. 😀 Didn’t think that’d ever happen but I’m actually considering holding off on HanaKare for a bit and getting this instead. ^^;
    Thanks for the heads up, in any case! That’s a lovely post to end the week on 🙂
