As we navigate the demands of our everyday lives, most of us are looking for ways to relax and unwind. Between the hustle and bustle of modern living, it can be hard to set aside time for self care. But, its important to take a few moments for yourself. And what better way to relax than with some cozy games.
In an industry full of intense competitive games, sometimes gamers are looking for something chill to lose themselves in. So I’ve compiled a list of relaxing cozy games you can curl up with during your day.
Cozy Grove

It’s all in the name with this one, but what I love about Cozy Grove is that it’s a life-sim management game that encourages you to take breaks. While games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing thrive on long binges, Cozy Grove is best enjoyed in small 30-60 minute sessions.
In this cute camping themed game, play as a Spirit Scout and explore the haunted island of Cozy Grove. Befriend the local ghost residents and help them find peace. Forage and hunt for items, craft cute furniture, and chat with your helpful campfire, Flamey. Cozy Grove is the perfect game to play throughout your busy day.
Lemon Cake

You’d think running your own café would be stressful. But there’s something therapeutic about mixing ingredients, tending your animals, and baking sweet treats for hungry patrons in Lemon Cake. There is a lot to do in this game and while it can be hectic, especially during the lunch rush, once you get a good rhythm running your own bakery is kind of fun.
Also watching your bakery transform from a rundown mess into a thriving business is super satisfying–especially with the fun extras like the cat café upgrade! Who doesn’t love cute kitties?!
Unpacking

You can learn a lot about a person by looking at their possessions, Unpacking takes that premise and runs with it. Unpack boxes, and sort through knickknacks and odds and ends of unseen characters. Help them fill out their new home and create a comfortable living space while uncovering clues about the lives of the people you’re unpacking.
There are no limits or timers in Unpacking, so you can take your time getting things just right! This is a fun, no pressure experience, that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day.
She and the Light Bearer

Rounding out this list is a short cute puzzle game, She and the Light Bearer. This fun point-and-click adventure uses beautiful music and gorgeous storybook aesthetics to tell short emotional story. Follow Little Firefly as they seek out The Mother, hidden deep in the forest. Along the way earn the trust of the forest by solving riddles, challenges, and puzzles.
Like Toge Production’s previous game, When the Past Was Around this one has some bittersweet moments that will definitely tug at the heartstrings. But, with it’s hand-painted visuals, soothing music, and simple puzzles, She and the Light Bearer is a worthwhile relaxing experience.
