Physical editions for Nintendo Switch will be available for pre-order with online retailer Playasia this Thursday, June 4th at 11:00pm Hong Kong time (11:00am ET / 8:00am PT / 4:00pm UK). Only 2000 Limited Editions will be produced, which will include the game, manual, drama CD, art book, Joy-Con™ stickers, mini case, acrylic standees, poster and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box for US$69.99 plus shipping, while supplies last. There will be no reprint of this Limited Edition. Standard copies will also be available at US$49.99.
Hi Naja! Hoping this is okay to ask, but how has your luck been with PlayAsia recently? I remember last year there was a seizing packages scare, and they’ve had to add tariffs for US customers last September. I’m a little nervous to buy from them, since the last time was before all this (I pre-ordered SSL from VGP after cancelling my PlayAsia order because the seizing incident had just occured). If you have any info, I’d appreciate it!
I’m not Naja, but I had a package from PlayAsia seized in February. They issued me store credit equivalent to what I paid for the game. I’m still not thrilled about it but they didn’t leave me completely high and dry!
Hey hey! Totally fine! The last time I ordered something from PlayAsia was last year. I know folks have had issues with them in the past, but I never had anything crazy happen with my orders. My only complaint is they do take forever to ship anything. But all of my packages have gotten to me at least within a month of the release.
