We have some exciting otome news from VNka, the English publisher of Japanese doujin games, Melty Amethyst and Guardian Goddess. The team announced that they will be publishing a spooky supernatural otome, aptly named, Spooky Monster sometime in 2026! With a demo version planned for an October 2025 release, so be sure to follow the Steam page to be notified on the release date.
Spooky Monster is a short doujin otome originally released by emobox on PC in 2021 as スプムーンの怪物. The story is about a young woman who has been isekai’d by a demon to another world, crawling with various monsters: zombies, ghosts, vampires, fairies. Now she must coexist with them until she can return home.
About Spooky Monster
There’s a legend that if you make a wish on a moonlit night near the lake, it can come true. The main heroine, who didn’t want to go home, made the wish and found herself in another world filled with creepy yet very charming monsters. Will she be able to fall in love with any of them, or will she return home?
