A tower that crumbles in the vastness of a bleeding sky. A voice that mourns and yearns for something.
Nothing could have prepared you for what awaited you behind that door. Nothing and no one could have warned you of the danger you would be in if you returned to that town.
You wouldn’t have listened.
Torn away from your peaceful life and thrown into a world of danger and deceit, you are at the mercy of the Seven Sovereigns of Limbo, almighty gods that have sworn to be your protectors…as long as you prove yourself useful.

Uncover the mysteries behind your summoning to the realm of limbo. Tie your fate to one of the seven love interests and face the truth of a world on the verge of collapse.
Characters of Lost in Limbo
In Lost in Limbo players can romance one of the seven sovereign of Limbo. Get to know them and explore their complex motivations, uncover the truth of their pasts and foster a lasting bond.

Left to Right (Back): Envy, Amon, Gael, Raeya

Pride | He/Him | 52 Years Old
VA: Patrick ‘Pat’ Langner
God and creator of Limbo, Father Pride watches over the peace and well-being of his realm, but the life of a god can be solitary. When he welcomes you with open arms, his kindness draws you in…and a perturbing omen makes you stay.

Daddy Pride can get it. Man came out with the ethereal aura and the deep soothing voice and I was going feral. Though I kinda feel like I’m going to Hell for thirsting over fantasy Jeezus…

Amon | He/Him | 34 Years Old
VA: Brian Vaughn
Unapologetically so, Lord Amon lives his life to the fullest and indulges in as many pleasures as he can. His disarming personality could put anyone at ease, but the Golden Dragon is not as harmless as everyone wants to believe.

Mans is cute and dumb, I don’t need anything else. But, his laugh is so warm and yummy… and those abs~ Amon is a tree I wanna climb.

Raeya | She/Her | 32 Years Old
VA: Silvairre Devereaux
Dedicated and brave, Praefectus Raeya takes her role as Limbo’s protector extremely seriously, but the truth behind the realm’s darkest times will soon put her loyalty —and her ability to keep you out of harm’s way— to the test.

Mommy Raeya can step on me. But seriously, whatever this fierce ebony queen wants I will do, sex appeal with a healthy dose of fear and domination.

Gael | He/Him | 29 Years Old
VA: Abi Kumar
Current Master of the Grand Houses, Gael’s sweet and noble persona won the hearts of the citizens of Limbo and has ensured his position for the past five elections. However, the beloved Master has a secret that could end his reputation and plunge his already torn city into chaos.

A sweet gentleman with a princely aura and a terrifying power… He seems like a nice guy, but I feel like I should be afraid…

Envy | He/They | 24 Years Old
VA: Aaron Moy
Stripped of their name and shunned after committing treason, the Sovereign now known as Lord Envy lives a life of solitude and confinement. Will you be able to break down the walls they have built around themselves for centuries, or will you remain a prisoner in his castle for all eternity?

Angy lil Hot Topic Loki elf can get it. So many big emotions in such a small person. Baby has a chip on their shoulder and I aim to tease~

Ara | She/Her | 22 Years Old
VA: Zaria Weems
Kind and caring, Ara is not only determined to make your time in Limbo a happy thing to remember, but also to make things go back to the way they were, no matter the cost. Her dazzling smile hides an ambition and a determination that could serve you well—if both your goals are as aligned as she swears them to be.

If cotton candy sunshine was a person, it would be Ara. But, everyone is a little sus and I am worried she might come for me with those shears…

Xal | He/Him | 21 Years Old
VA: Francfil Pontañeles
As the youngest Sovereign, no one expects anything from Xal, not even himself. He is seen as a good-for-nothing and a poor excuse of a god, but you two are about to prove everyone wrong. For better or worse, he’s the only one who can help you, but what if Xal needs you as much as you need him?

Baby boy is “the orphan” and that will never not be funny–they set this man up for failure. But, I am curious about him, Xal lied for me and I need to know why…

Lost in Limbo Demo Review
A tarot card reading gone wrong thrusts River Winchester (no relation to Sam and Dean) into the depths of Limbo where she will have to fight to survive. Each choice you make could be the difference between life and death, a fact I learned first hand as I stumbled headfirst into two of the demo’s gruesome game over endings.
To add to the immersion, there are a few split second timed choices during two pretty tense scenes and trust me when I say they are used very effectively in the demo. I will tell you from experience, being faced with a surprise eldritch abomination on screen and a timed choice with no processing time will have you clicking anything real quick. But, in my case it led to my death…
Danger lurks around every corner—nightmare monsters roam the forests of Limbo and a mysterious voice from a dark, smoky tower that feels like it was plucked straight from the pages of Tolkien haunts your dreams.

Wonder and fear are always in tandem as we explore the imaginative and lush fantasy world of Lost in Limbo and uncover the truth behind our presence in Limbo and our connection to an ancient prophecy. While the world itself seems to be out to get you, there are those who offer assistance, the Seven Sovereign of Limbo—the god-like “rulers” of Limbo. However, the Sovereign are less benevolent deities and have a bit more in common with the Olympian Pantheon. They’re messy.
Unpredictable and powerful, the Sovereign are far from ethereal benevolent gods and feel more like fallible people with their own designs and motivations. And despite the danger of allying yourself with a group of powerful and immortal beings, there is something surprisingly human about them all. Little quirks and artistic choices added in that make them feel more grounded and approachable (except for Pride, the man is literally fantasy god).
I loved that the big bad “Dragon of Dagalis” is a himbo with a southern drawl, or that the all powerful Lord Envy is an angy lil emo elf who gets huffy when he’s teased. While the fun banter between Xal and Ara has the feel of the playful ribbing of siblings. It add a bit of levity and fun to a story that is undoubtedly going to take some dark turns.
The game does have partial English voice acting and all of the performances were really good. I mentioned Amon’s southern drawl, because as a southern gal, it stood out the most memorable to me. But each VA really embodies their characters, from Ara’s sweet whimsical voice to dom mommy Raeya’s commanding tone, and the seductively soothing crooning of daddy Pride—the voices were on point!

Of course, I would be remiss in not mentioning the diverse cast. The cast of Lost in Limbo cover a spectrum of identities. Ethnicity is not explicitly stated in the demo (and it does not have to be), but one look at the key art reveals a pretty visually diverse cast—the melanin is poppin.
Speaking of visuals, Lost in Limbo is beautiful. The art design is absolutely stunning. There is a distinct high fantasy aesthetic to the game. The lush backgrounds, purple tones, and animated features add a sense of magic and whimsy that is as beautiful as it is otherworldly. This is a living breathing world that pulls you in from the start. The character designs also lend themselves to the fantasy vibe, from the pointed ears to the elaborate clothing. But, while it is a fantasy, there is a bit of a modern twist on many of the designs that I really liked.

Is the Lost in Limbo Demo Worth Playing?
Overall, the Lost in Limbo demo really delivers on its dark fantasy premise with plenty of twists and surprises to keep you on your toes. Delve into this imaginative and immersive world where danger lurks around every corner and see if you can uncover the truth behind the mysterious goings on in Limbo. Put your fate in the hands of the Sovereign. Will you give yourself over to their charms or will you keep them at arms length… the choice is yours!
I cannot wait to play the full game when it is available! I have so many questions that need answering and the demo just scratches the surface of what’s to come. Also, there’s a sexy dom mommy that I’d really like to get to know a little better~
