Japanese indie otome publisher Loca Games launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming dark fantasy romance, Volontés! This is an otome game of magic and suspense in which the main character, who has lost everything, finds her way of life while facing tragedy. The team previously released their fantasy romance otome, Yukar from the Abyss to much success on the Nintendo Switch.
The campaign has a goal of $31,045 USD and is set to run until July 31, 2024, so be sure to show your support before the deadline!
About Volontés
It is an era shrouded in darkness, where the world is sealed off, and a deadly plague ravages the land. A peaceful village is ruthlessly attacked by a knightly order, leaving your home destroyed and family murdered.
Saved by a mysterious figure, you’re led to a magical city floating on the sea. There, the stranger proclaims you to be the Moon Witch, destined to guide the people to prosperity. He serves as a court bard, entertaining the palace with his tales, yet is devoid of any magical abilities. Additionally, he is also a member of the knightly order. His sharp tongue has left him with few friends, yet despite this, he is surprisingly easy to talk to.

- The full game will feature four playable romance routes, each with their own unique endings that include: Happy End, Tragic End, Plunder End, and Multiple Bad Ends.

- The team is also working to provide quality Japanese voice acting for the game.
