We asked for smut and the universe answered! Japanese doujin circle, Succulent announced via their socials that they will be working with publisher 072 Project to bring two r18 otome games to Western fans. The team will be releasing both Princess Paradise (released originally as Hime no Rakuen) and Lunar Maiden, River-side Angel, Godlike Moment (released originally as Tsuki no Onna, Kawa no Tenshi, Kami Meku Toki) on Steam with English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support.
While there is no official release dates for either title, there is a Steam page for Princess Paradise where players can Wishlist the game! We’re still waiting for more details, but lets take a look at what we do know about both titles!
Princess Paradise
Princess Paradise is an R18 otome game originally released for PC in 2023 by doujin circle, Succulent. The game does feature sexual content involving a more dominant female lead and two male love interests. Sexual acts are depicted visually with CGs and within the text, with descriptions of penetration and other acts. From the images included on the Steam page it appears that the game is uncensored, much like the Mangagamer release of Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome.

Since successfully developing powerful magic, the empire has continued to wage wars against neighboring countries to expand its territory.
Steam
Due to something as a dividing line, the empire’s princess Kanalia and her attendant Iola were driven to live in an isolation hut.
In her boring daily life, Kanalia accidentally saw prisoners of the neighboring knights being brought into the city.
So, Kanalia said to her father, the emperor──
“I want that person.”
The princess’s life trajectory intersects with the hearts of the two men.
Characters

Kanalia (VA. Fuurin Misuzu)
She has a beautiful appearance and a body that even her father is obsessed with.
She’s born in order to stabilize her mother’s place, who was once a prostitute but became a concubine.
By virtue of her appearance and intelligence.
From an early age, she was taught how to manipulate men.
After her mother died of murder, she was pushed out of the center of power.
She was driven deep into the castle to live in a building originally used to isolate plague patients.

Lynas (VA. Uitoki Cherry)
He is a knight from a neighboring country that was captured in the war.
Because of his high self-esteem, his personality is also sharp.
He has no interest in devoting his loyalty to the king or the god, and the sword in his hand is intended to be wielded only for himself.
He is a bit misogynistic, so even though people around him advise him to get married early, he still doesn’t have a lover yet.
He wears a “magic stone” collar around his neck to prevent him from harming people in the city.
So no matter how much he cursed, he couldn’t really take action.
It’s easy to lose to the pleasure.

Iola (VA. Ishiya Haruki)
He is a member of a certain ethnic group living in a remote area of a small country under the rule of an empire.
After being spotted by Kanalia’s mother, he became Kanalia’s follower.
Purchasing supplies, preparing food and taking care of Kanalia are all his jobs.
A being who understands Kanalia’s loneliness and stays by her side.
Originally, his nation did not have the culture of “word”.
“But since he became Kanalia’s follower,
he learned to read and write under her advice,
and now he enjoys reading all kinds of books.”
Influenced by Kanalia’s tone and books, he can use some hard words.
His special trick is squirting.

I still dream of them porting A’sRing games and localizing them on Steam, more due to the fact that there are very good games practically lost because they were only released on one platform and most of the time sold separately. Leaving games like this to die in oblivion is very sad, that’s why whenever I have the opportunity I always buy them when they are localized or even released in Japan on Steam. I still dream of a translation of Ken ga Kimi, but I can still play even in Japanese, but not everyone is like that.
I had to look those up and now I am so sad these aren’t more well known. You are so right, there are so many games that are abandoned on long gone platforms…
We can only hope that one day they’ll make their way on someone’s localization radar…
