A few weeks ago, HuneX dropped a teaser image for a proposed fandisc for the 2016 steampunk otome game, Steam Prison. Well, today, the official HuneX English Twitter (X) account gave us a bit more than a teaser—we have a tentative release date and a first look at Cyrus’s glow up in the fandisc!!
A fan disk is in development!
In honor of its seventh anniversary, we’re breaking our silence! This fandisk takes place two years after the “Grand Ending” from the original Steam Prison!
We hope you’ll look forward to an all-new story as our cast of characters journeys beyond the steam!
Planned for release in 2024
While news about the fandisk is still coming in, the tweet from the English HuneX account is a good sign that we may be receiving an English port of the game in the new year! As stated in the official tweet, Steam Prison Beyond the Steam will take place 2 years after the Grand Ending of the first game and follow the characters on an all new adventure!
Many in the fandom hope that the fandisc will include additional stories and routes for side characters, like Sanchsen—but, we’ll just have to wait for HuneX to release more information.
In the meantime, we do have a thirty-seven second teaser trailer tide us over until HuneX spills more details!
