So far Bad Boys Do It Better, has been hitting it out of the park with these love interests. I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this route. Rei’s route was definitely better than this one, but I still appreciated how genuinely sweet the story was in this route.

The MC thinks Ryoji is a nice guy after he saves her from the rowdy group of guys during the events of the prologue, but when she meets him in the dorms, his personality does a complete 180. He has a reputation for being the resident tough guy of the school, relying on his fists to get him out of most situations. But, underneath his rough exterior is a surprisingly gentle guy.

The Aloof Delinquent Who Stole My Heart: Bad Boys Do It Better!-Rei Todo

So, I couldn’t have been more surprised by how much I loved this route! The prologue for this game did a piss poor job of conveying how great of a game this was, and I want to amend my harsh criticism of it!

Rei Todo, is wonderful perfect adorably cute the cool aloof guy from the prologue. His cool demeanor and sharp tongue keep others at a distance. Not that anyone could even get the chance in the first place, as he spends most of the school year skipping class up on the roof. In the past he was burned by someone he cared about, so he’s very reluctant to open up… But, when he does, he becomes a playful, yet straightforward guy.

[First Thoughts] Bad Boys Do It Better

Edit: So, I seriously considered editing this post, which I wrote after only playing the prologue, as my opinion of the game has since changed. But, I kind of like the feel of this post, so in the end I didn’t change a thing. 

So, Voltage must love high school romances, because they keep cranking these bad boys out like there aren’t any other otoge premises to choose from. Do I sound bitter, well you bet I’m bitter…I am so tired of high school romances, I thought we were getting somewhere with After School Affairs. At least in that game you play as a high school teacher, but, no, Voltage Inc is taking us back to school with their newest title, Bad Boys Do It Better!

What’s with all the highlights?

As you can no doubt tell from my glowing introduction, I am not overly excited about this game. In fact I’m expecting to be pleasantly disappointed, yet again by yet another foray into the rose colored spring time of youth, but I’ve been surprised by Voltage before, so we’ll see…So without further ado, lets get this ball rolling!
