Back in November Naive Sprites launched their first Kickstarter campaign for their Alice in Wonderland inspired English otome game, A Very Important Date. However, they were not able to meet their original funding goal by the end of the campaign… Well, I am excited to write that they have not given up on the project and are back with a second revamped campaign!! This time around the team is looking to raise funding for the main game and a spin-off game featuring a male protagonist! Plus there is a ton of new content and features that expand on the original concept.

I have been following this game’s development for a long time now and I absolutely adored the demo!! I really want to see this project become a reality! So when Naive Sprites announced that they were giving Kickstarter another go, I knew I had to show my support!

A Very Important Date- Demo Review

A Very Important Date  is an upcoming Alice in Wonderland themed visual novel from indie developers Naive Sprites.  Upon it’s release the game will be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The developers are also working on getting the game greenlit for Steam. The demo covers the Prologue and the first three chapters of Gwyn and Emil’s routes, for a total of 6 chapters total, which amounts to roughly three to four hours of gameplay. So with just a few hours left in the Kickstarter campaign, I decided to bring you all a review of the demo version of the game!

I should stress that this is a loose adaptation, and that while Naive Sprites borrows many elements from Carroll’s iconic story, AVID is a wholly original work that promises to breathe new life into the popular tale.

[Not Funded] Let’s Show Our Support for A Very Important Date!!

Edit (12/6): The Kickstarter for this game failed to achieve the necessary funds by the deadline. Despite not reaching their goal, Naive Sprites will continue to work on the game and there are plans to launch a second Kickstarter campaign later on this year!

For once I’m not late with this Kickstarter campaign, in fact, I’ve been following this game for a little while now! So, this time around I am excited to bring you guys the campaign for Naive Sprite’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland inspired otome, A Very Important Date!!

I absolutely love anything to do with Alice in Wonderland, so when I heard that this game was in the works I immediately kept tabs on the development!! So with out further ado, let’s get this post crackin’!!
