‘I’m…contemplating suicide.’
A period of 7 days in which the graduation ceremony is just around the corner, and the spring breeze begins to blow. These boys wish for their own deaths.
As if to escape from the strife of interpersonal relationships, you became a truant before you knew it. When you came back to school for the first time in a while, an odd club recruitment poster caught your eye.
The name of the club was ‘Club Suicide’.
You did not have any specially strong reasons but somehow you had thoughts of wanting to die. Half of you filled up with curiosity and the other half with serious intent, you ended up taking a look at the club.
‘Within the following 7 days, we’ll completely sever our attachments to this world and end our lives.’ You were overcome by the five club members’ seriousness and became afraid of committing suicide, quickly coming to think ‘I want to live’ instead.
At the same time, it was not like you had any of the courage nor felt like you were in a position to tell them, ‘actually, I don’t want to die’, knowing that these boys were seriously working towards ending their own lives…
You carried this secret in your heart and these strange, repulsive 7 days had begun. 7 days of following the boys’ desires and dark sides as they headed towards their deaths.
Get to Know the Characters of Club Suicide
A first-year student in the manga club.
Reason for wanting to die: No hope for the future.
Lingering regret: Show his parents his appreciation for them.
He’s a kind boy who cares about his family.
He tends to get overwhelmed easily while thinking about the things going on around him.
Has a tendency to stutter.
Although usually a quiet introvert, when his favorite subjects are brought up, he brightens up and speaks really fast.
A third-year student who used to be the captain of the school basketball club.
Reason for wanting to die: Tired of living
Lingering regret: Wants a real girlfriend
Despite the lingering regret he claims to have, he’s a carefree womanizer.
He loves to joke around but is also very cautious of what others might be thinking.
He may seem kindhearted in one moment, and completely devoid of all emotion in another.
He can be cold as ice or as hot as fire.
A third-year student who is in the photography club.
Reason for wanting to die: Unable to become a hero
Lingering regret: None
For better or worse, he’s extremely innocent and naive for his age.
He values justice, love, and peace.
Above all, he’s a huge foodie whose weakness is anything delicious.
He sometimes talks and acts like a small animal.
It might seem like his head is in the clouds 24/7, but it’s really not.

Reason for wanting to die: Hatred for senile old geezers

His appearance is reminiscent of an anime or game character.
He snaps easily and isn’t afraid to tell someone when he doesn’t like them, no matter who they might be.
That being said…he becomes a total spaz whenever his favorite character is mentioned.

Reason for wanting to die: To make those he loves happy
Lingering regret: Wishes to overcome his fear of death
An intelligent and generous boy who wears glasses.
As he is quick-witted and a skilled speaker, he is relied upon by many people, regardless of what clique they fall in with.
For better or worse, he can be very assertive.
That being said…at heart, he’s really a hopeless romantic and a huge fan of yuri.

Lingering regret: To leave his mark
A mysterious boy with an otherworldly appearance.
With his morbidly thin physique, peculiar way of speaking, and constantly changing expressions, no one can pinpoint who or what he really is.
Although he wishes to commit suicide as a human, he frequently refers to himself as a supernatural being.
