Here we are again the end of another week…Since graduation is looming, ever present on the horizon so hiring season is upon us at last! I have filled out so many applications, cover letters, and resumes in the past few day that I feel like I’m a job application champ! But, to be honest the whole process is tedious and draining. I wish I could just show up at the place I want to work and say, “HIRE ME! I CAN READ AND WRITE…HIRE ME!…please?”
This is what my resume looks like right now…
Job hunting aside, my Big Graduation Project is coming up on the final stretch and we are writing the Discussion section! For those who don’t know this is where we talk about the results and offer an explanation about how they may have come about. We also give details about the strengths and limitations of our study and suggestions for future studies. Trust me it’s loads better than the statistics portion of this project, that was the most frustratingly tedious part of this project! My Behavior Change Project will be over on Wednesday, and I couldn’t be more pleased, one less thing to worry about!

So fellow otoge blogger, Leafy just brought it to my attention that Spike Chunsoft might be willing to localize the game Kenka Bancho for us western otoge players if there is enough interest in it! After the debauchery that was the Beastmaster and Prince Kickstarter, it would be nice to see a game localized for a western audience! So let’s do this let’s mobilize while the iron is hot, before all this momentum and buzz dies down! Let Spike Chunsoft know that there is a market for otoge in the west, by letting them know on Twitter and (if you don’t have twitter) Facebook!
Kenka Bancho Otome is an otoge adaptation of the popular beat ’em up game series of the same name! An otoge with fists?! Sounds like my type of game!
For as long as she’s been aware, the heroine, without a single relative, lived under care of the state. Both of her parents’ faces were unknown to her. In front of this heroine, a young boy appeared. The young boy’s name was “Hikaru”. It appeared that he was the heroine’s twin brother, separated at birth. He had a proposal for the heroine.
“Could you go to school in my place?”
The heroine was shocked by this crazy suggestion. Furthermore this was an all-boys school. The only high school in this prefecture for delinquents. Hikaru was part of the most ancient and honorable family in the criminal underworld (yakuza), the Onigashima family. Under his father’s strict teachings, the school that he was to attend had been decided. And that school was Shishiku Academy. A high school where all the terrible and wild delinquents were gathered. Enrolled in this school, a child of the Onigashima family was obligated to occupy and control this school. Hikaru did not want to have anything to do with delinquents. But to defy his father meant death. Hikaru, who learnt about his twin sister who was separated from him at birth, was struck with the idea to send her in his place to this school of delinquents.
Let’s make this happen! Let’s do what we do best: Share this post! Spread the word! Send them tweets and hit them up on Facebook! Take to Tumblr and pass this along! Let your voices be heard! We are here and we want more otoge localized for western audiences! Here’s a post with the tweet that started it all!
Now, game companies are listening! Let’s let them know what we want!
