Well, what can I say, this is going to be a super short post since I already declared my love for middle blockers in Day 6 post. On top of that, I have two favorite characters that both just so happen to be middle blockers and I already wrote about both of them….
It should be fairly obvious who I’m talking about, buuuuuut, if you’re still in the dark here’s a hint: They are my favorite Haikyuu ship!
This one pic perfectly sums up their relationship.
I never realized how much KuroTsuki fanart there was out there until I decided to look for a non-fanart pic of Kuroo and Tsukishima for this post! For once, I just wanted something platonic… but, I digress. My favorite middle blockers are, Kuroo Tetsuro and Tsukishima Kei. Since I already wrote about both characters already, here’s the cliffnotes version:
Kuroo: He’s a laid back and reliable guy who always takes time out of his schedule to help out his juniors. Kuroo is quick to laugh and a bit of a tease, but when he’s on the court, Kuroo is a force to be reckoned with. He’s an adept strategist able to read his quickly assess his opponents and determine the appropriate course of action. He’s just an all around phenomenal player and person. (See Day 4)
Tsukishima: He’s the love of my life…

No seriously, that’s it! 🙂

Really. Tsukki is the light of my life….

Okay, fine. *ahem* Tsukishima, like Kuroo is a bit of a strategist, though this doesn’t really come up until the later seasons. He is adept in reading his opponents’s moves and counteracting them with little to no prep time. Ya’ll, he can read block and he can call plays and HE IS ONLY A FIRST YEAR!!! (See Day 1 and Tsukki Appreciation Post)
Welp, I said this would be short! Those were my picks, but I wanna hear from you guys! Who are your favorite middle blockers? Let me know in the comments section! As always, if you like what you see, be sure to like this post or subscribe to Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Thank you for reading!!
