So I received a notification from WordPress telling me that I now have 200 wonderful followers!! 200!?
This blog has only been around for a year and I never imagined that I’d reach 50 let alone 200 Followers! Guys, I still remember the days when I only had 5 followers and I barely had any daily views. I remember feeling discouraged and there were moments when I actually wanted to just quit all together. So when I saw that 200 of you lovely folks really like my blog, it really made my year! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words and support, because without you guys I dunno if I’d have the heart to keep this whole thing up and running like I do!
So in honor of this momentous occasion, I’m going to give shout outs to the four wonderful bloggers that were there in the very beginning! These special bloggers were there with me from the start and I can’t thank them enough for their support and love!!
Number 4: kurosama238 from Two Happy Cats
Ah, my blogging twin!! I couldn’t very well write this post without mentioning this amazing aniblogger! We started our blogs around the same time a year ago and we have been chatting it up ever since. I fell in love with her Dumpling Adventures posts, but I stayed for her lovely personality…and I can honestly say that it has truly been a pleasure knowing you! From our passion for all things BL/yaoi related to our love of horror manga (especially Junki Ito), this is a friendship that just won’t quit!
So, for those of you that don’t know, kurosama runs a fabulous blog that focuses on all things otaku! She does it all, anime reviews, game reviews, etc… there is no limit to the sheer amount of content she writes for her blog. On top of that she’s a great person to chat with either on WordPress, Twitter, or on Tumblr, so definitely stop by and say hello!! You are the best Blog Twin!!
Number 3: Neko from Otoge Meow
When I was new and still trying to find my groove, this blogger was one of the first to start commenting on my posts. For some of you that might not sound like much, but for me it meant that someone was reading what I wrote… It meant that someone out there in the world wide web found my blog and actually liked what I wrote and that more than anything gave me the courage to keep writing! So, thank you Neko!!
While Neko isn’t as active on WordPress as she once was, don’t let that stop you from checking out this amazing blog!! There’s a ton of content, from game reviews and walkthroughs to anime reviews and k-drama reactions, so definitely stop by and give her posts a read!
Number 2: bobaandgames from Boba and Games
Boba was one of my first mutuals and for a complete novice blogger like me, it really made me happy that there were other people out there that shared my interests! I have a few RL friends that play video games, but most of them don’t… So when I stumbled upon this lovely blog I just knew I had to introduce myself! We also share a lot of similarities, and she is just a joy to chat with!! If you haven’t already, give this Boba and Games a read, you won’t be disappointed!!
Number 1: Leafy from LEAFさんの夢が。。。
And last but certainly not least, Leafy! Oh my gosh ya’ll, Leafy is like my sister from another mister! She was here from the very beginning, when all I had was an about page and a short introduction post! She was here when I was using this tan paisley theme… so she knows about all the changes I made to this blog and I mean, all of them! She was the very first person to comment on my blog and the first person to ever follow Nice Job Breaking It, Hero over a year ago! She was always there with a like or a comment, it didn’t matter what the post was about… Leafy would still leave a comment!
Back then (and now) we would chat for hours in the comments section about otome games and learning Japanese… I’m getting all choked up just thinking about it! Even though she’s busy with school, she still stops by to chat it up and I am so glad to have made such an awesome blogging buddy!! Here’s to blogging about sexy pixel bishies when we’re old ladies!! You rock Leafy!! 😀
Also if you haven’t already, go check out her amazing blog, she’s an otome blogger like me, but she has this amazing Japanese Learning post series that is one of the best I have ever seen!! So, go meet this amazingly sweet and supportive blogger, she’s one of the best!!
So yeah, those were my shout outs, but know that these aren’t the only folks I’m thankful for… there are so many other bloggers and friends that have been so supportive during my blogging journey!! Thank you all so much for reading my awkwardly random ramblings and reviews!! I can’t wait to see where this crazy blogging journey takes me in the future!!
If you like what you see, like this post or follow Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! As always THANK YOU FOR READING!!
