Yuri Visual Novel Please Be Happy to get Japanese Localization by SukeraSparo

As announced today on Twitter, English yuri visual novel game developers Studio Élan are working in collaboration with Japanese yuri games development company SukeraSparo to bring Studio Élan’s yuri visual novel Please Be Happy to Japan via Japanese translation and publishing. SukeraSparo is a renowned Japanese yuri games development company, known for such works as “The Expression Amrilato” & more.

A CAMPFIRE campaign to support Please Be Happy’s localization will go live later this year for Japanese players that want to support this release. There will also be an IndieGoGo campaign for players outside of Japan at the same time who want to support the release and get some of the exclusive crowdfunding merchandise.

Please Be Happy was originally released on November 21, 2022 in English on Steam and itch.io by Studio Élan. It follows Miho, a Korean fox spirit who travels the world in search for a special person who once showed her kindness which leads her to Wellington, New Zealand. There, she meets the vampire Juliet and the writer Aspen who encourage her to live life anew rather than running from everything. It has over 200,000 words with English voice acting, a variety of characters to meet and the ability to romance Juliet or Aspen.

Please Be Happy is also slated to be released on Sony PlayStation 5, Sony PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in the future. If the CAMPFIRE campaign is successful, the Japanese language option will be available on all platforms.
