After 8 years of production, SweetChiel released their Indonesian inspired, fantasy indie otome game, Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle. The game started production in 2016 and while it isn’t a sequel to their fantasy otome, Nusantara: Legend of The Winged Ones, the game is set in the same world and does have some nods to the original game.
Follow a new protagonist, Maya, as she gets swept away on an epic fantasy adventure in this Indonesian otome visual novel!
About Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle
In 20XX, an enormous earthquake shook the world and caused a triangular crater to suddenly appear in the middle of Bermuda Triangle. The world was aghast with this discovery and it became even more concerning when scout teams came across a mysterious force, preventing people from getting too close. Those who went to examine it said that the force was like an invisible wall and there was no way around it, therefore, making further investigation difficult.
Spiritual events and sightings have also dramatically increased since then.
It got to the point where people began to hold festivals to honor the dead and the mythical creatures. It wasn’t long until it became a new worldwide sensation and there was not a single day where spiritual events weren’t on the newsOur heroine, Maya (19), was busy earning her living so this kind of event was of little importance aside from adding an exciting spice into her life. But then her world crumbled when a Goddess came and announced that her family would die in a car accident in the near future.
The Goddess offered Maya a deal: She would alter her family’s fate in exchange for closing the Bermuda Crater. In order to do so, Maya would have to go to a place called The Forgotten Isles, find what caused it, and look for a solution.
If she agreed, three men would accompany her, acting as bodyguards. Apparently, they each have their own circumstances and a wish to be granted.
Characters
Take on the role of Maya and pursue four love interests. At the start, Guntur, Kah’lil, and Arya’s routes are available. The final love interest’s route will be unlocked after completing the first 3 main bachelor routes.

Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle” is an epic fantasy adventure with a strong spice of romance, mystery, & Indonesian flavor.
- World Map interaction: The events will be separated into Main story events and Character events. Character events will be indicated by their silhouette when you hover over the buttons so check carefully.
- Casual Status Raising: The status you raise will help determine which bachelor route you’re going to be in. After a certain amount of time, the system will choose the bachelor with the highest affection points along with the highest status points so keep track of them.
- Regular & Timed Choices: To add a bit of excitement to the story, there will occasionally be timed choices. So, don’t forget to save!
- Translation & Definition Notes; As you play, you will notice that some words will be of different color. Click it to find its meaning/translation. The colors are important, so be sure to click and check everything!
- Animated Sprites & Backgrounds: To add to the immersion of the game, Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle features animated character sprites and backgrounds–rain animation, fallen leaves, water ripples, and more.
- Layered clothes sprites that can be stripped if you managed to pick the right choices in certain circumstances (jacket to shirt to topless. Well you know the order :’D)
- Mini Encyclopedia; It will display Indonesian culture facts that appears in the game.
- 9 Endings to unlock and discover!
