Sympathy Kiss Gameplay Tips

  • There are 3 types of endings in Sympathy Kiss: Perfect End, Work End, and Love End.
    • For the Perfect End you will need to keep the Work and Love stats equal.
    • For the Work or Love Ends you will need to have the corresponding stat higher than the other by the end of the route.
  • There are 3 types of in game choices you can make in Sympathy Kiss
    • Love/Work choices: These raise either the Love or Work stats meter. There are usually 4 options to choose from that correspond with either stat. The best choices for these have a visual catch of a colored tulip. Blue tulips correspond to Work choices and Pink for Love choices. Larger tulips indicate the best choice for that corresponding stat.
    • Emotion Select choices: These choices do not raise affection or stats. But, they let you choose between 2 emotions to react to a character action. You can choose whichever option you want without consequence.
    • Normal Choices: These do not effect your endings and are more or less just flavor text. Pick whatever you want.
  • There are 6 romance routes and 2 Hidden romance routes in Sympathy Kiss.
    • Saotome, Minato, Kobase, Yoshioka, and Tainaka are achievable from the start of the game.
    • Usui’s route is achievable after completing at least one Perfect End for any of the first five love interests.
    • The Hidden routes are playable at any time, however they are branch routes of two of the main routes.

Note on choices: Affection based choices in Sympathy Kiss raise either Love or Work stats. To get the Perfect end you will need to balance the Work/Love meters. I have indicated below the choices that yield the highest Love or Work stat. You can choose either option, just make sure by the end of the playthrough you have made exactly 3 Work choices and 3 Love choices to get the Perfect end.

    • There is a different CG for the Love choice, I want to talk alone, so use quick save to make this choice too.
    • The other two choices do not have CGs.

Note 1: The simplest way to get this is to select Episodes from the title screen. Pick Rokuro Yoshioka. Toggle over to Episode 6. From there set Love to High and Work to Low. Then follow the guide as listed.

Note 2: Or, if you want to playthrough this end first, simply select all the Love choices and you’ll get Yoshioka’s Love End without issue. There are no additional CGs for this end, so either way works.
