30 Day Anime Challenge- Day 29: An anime I wish was real

Oh my gosh, the second to last post, I can’t believe I actually pulled off 29 consecutive Anime Challenge posts so far… I thought I’d have slipped up by now, but it never happened! So, today I’m supposed to talk about an anime that I wished was real…

I’m not much of a fighter, so my pick isn’t Naruto or Bleach or anything like that… I considered a reverse harem anime, because why not… but, stringing along all those bishies at once just seems like a lot more work than I want to deal with. So I went with something that I’ve been hoping for since I was eight years old! So, my pick for an anime that I wish were real is…

My go to choice would have to be Pokemon! I think the only thing I wanted more than for Pokemon to be real was a letter of acceptance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (I think my letter got lost in the mail or something)… With the recent Pokemon Go mobile app I have been able to realize that dream to some degree, but not in the ways I imagined (eh, but close enough).

For as long as I can remember I always wanted to live out the events of the show. I wanted so badly to visit a Pokemon Professor so that I could receive my first Pokemon, preferably a Charmander or a Cyndaquil… Then I could set out on my journey with my Pokemon companions by my side, nothing but open road ahead of me. Ah, think of all the battles and friendships that would be forged as I blazed my way to the Pokemon League.

The idea of catching Pokemon and battling other trainers just seemed like so much fun. No responsibility; just you, your Pokemon, and your journey… Even as an adult I would give just about anything to travel the world in search of new Pokemon, I’d just have to get in shape first…lol
