TGIF! Here we are again with another Fangirl Friday! This week I’m covering a manga that’s just so bad it’s good. There are so many reasons to hate this manga, unnecessary angst, drama, questionable romantic relationships, just to name a few, but for some reason I can’t bring myself to condemn it and believe me I tried! I’m talking about the shoujo manga, Hot Gimmick by Mika Aihara!
I have never read a manga so problematic before in my life, but there’s a beauty to it, albeit a twisted and rather cringe worthy kind of beauty… This manga is like watching a really bad soap opera or those telenovelas, you just have to see where all the madness leads, even if a little piece of your soul dies in the process.

There I was minding my own business, browsing Twitter, when I saw that Voltage had finally decided to release a brand new app, Dangerous Relationship! So I immediately dropped everything and downloaded the game from the App store!!
So first things first, the art is a bit different from their other games and I have to admit that when I first saw it I wasn’t really a fan of it, but it grew on me… Okay, I’m lying, I’m still on the fence about the art style, but the premise more than makes up for that!
**Disclaimer: I DO NOT own any of the images used in this review, ALL images, screenshots, and characters belong to Voltage Inc. Please if you are interested in the game, download the game for free in the App Store or from Google Play and purchase the stories when they are available in your area.

Edit (1/7): The Kickstarter for this game was successful at meeting its funding goal. The final funding amount was $ 8,033 with 143 backers! The game now has a tentative release date of Spring 2017!
Okay, so I’m a day late, but I was experiencing some technical difficulties… *ahem* I am excited to bring you all a very special Kickstarter Campaign for Precatio’s upcoming otome game, Kokorogarwari!
I have been acquainted with one of Precatio’s members, the lovely Laramie Castiel for a while now (she runs an otome blog, Purple Nurple Wonderland), so I’ve been following this game’s progress almost since the beginning! I fell in love with the beautiful artwork, but I stayed for the intriguing premise and character descriptions. This promises to be a fabulous otome game and I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it is released!!

The Shadows That Run Alongside Our Car is a newly released Pay-What-You-Want visual novel from Lox Rain (Lorelei, Laiska, and Auro-Cyanide). The game which was created over the span of four days, features two character routes and six endings.
The road is long.
Two strangers sit side by side as night falls over. The car speeds down the open highway.
Without a soul around them, everything seems to slip away. On a journey to no one knows where, all they have is words and time. And that time is dwindling fast.
The shadows are chasing.
*Disclaimer: This is a SPOILER FREE review! Also all of the images used in this review belong Lox Rain!

TGIF! Here we are again with another Fangirl Friday! This week I am covering another webcomic that I stumbled upon during my recent internet travels called Satan and Me. So first, before you guys go running for the hills just from the title…. hear me out okay! So I was browsing a friend’s Tumblr page when I came across this post:
Yeah, soak that in for a bit… hilarious right, ladys, we’ve all wondered about those stupid designs manufacturers put on sanitary napkins. I mean come on they are essentially useless, so why bother even putting them on there in the first place? Beats me…well after laughing at the original post I scrolled down to read the reblog comments, and I’m glad I did because this thing just got 10x better. Upon closer inspection I saw that another Tumblr user, Orange Plum, took the idea and ran with it… the result, a hilariously addictive webcomic!
**I don’t own the images, they are the work of Orangeplum, the comic can be found on Tumblr and on Tapastic.**
