Suzumu Mado is the first pursuable character in Voltage Inc.’s Love Choice game, Tokyo Love Hustle. He’s a money hungry fake Medium at Mado Psychics and your new boss. Suzumu is a very different character from the usual alpha male LIs Voltage typically releases at launch–in a good way.
In a seedy corner of Shinjuku dwells a group of phony psychic mediums. Using their winning smiles, they attract suckers and make bank. One day, fate leads you to join this disreputable band.
“Wondering if I’m not so bad after all?”
When there is no template in life or love anything can happen…
“Love is freaking stupid.”
Your new job is at Mado Psychics, and your boss is a total jerk. Unless… he’s not all that bad?
“You can stop second guessing yourself. I am all bad.”
Tokyo Love Hustle is the latest Love Choice title in Voltage Inc.’s Love 365 App. Originally released in Japan in September 2021 as S Kyuu Renai, the game made its English language debut early November 2021. This story centers around the heroine becoming entangled in the lives of a band of phony psychics. In this fast-paced comedy, these guys seem utterly clueless as to how romance is supposed to work, but through a series of curious events, the bonds of friendship and love grow.

Cupid Parasite is a fantasy romantic comedy otome game developed by Idea Factory and a welcome change from some of the more doom and gloom heavy otome localizations we’ve gotten in the past. Unbeknownst to everyone, Lynette is secretly the Goddess of Love herself, Cupid and with a bit of divine help she might just be able to get these hopeless men to experience the bliss of true love… and maybe even experience a taste of love herself
Olympia Soiree is the otome game that no one thought would ever get localized and yet, it’s the latest Otomate title to make its way to the West. Olympia Soiree definitely touches on heavier themes than you’d expect to see in an otome game, but this more mature spin is a welcome change. Follow Olympia, last of her kind as she seeks out her husband to preserve her bloodline. On her journey across Tenguu Island in search of your perfect partner, and along the way learn more about the island and it’s people.
Is it me or is there a noticeable lack of 18+ otome games in the West? Thankfully, MangaGamer is around to bring otome fans what they’ve been craving… actual smut in our romance games. In 2017, MangaGamer localized Kalmia8’s Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome (Bocchi Musume x Produce Keikaku.), a quirky rom-com that doesn’t shy away from the raunchy sex that has been missing in otome games—at least the ones that make their way stateside. Follow Ema Tachibana, a gloomy high schooler with resting bitch face (their words not mine) whose life gets turned upside down when the hottest guys in school recruit her to be their new pet project… think She’s All That, but with lots of kinky sex!
Blerdy Tribe, the much anticipated crime noir otome game, BUSTAFELLOWS is here and it is one of the best otome games of 2021! Yes, I am saying that before the Aksys releases later on this year, but BUSTAFELLOWS is the otome game I have been waiting for—developed by Japanese publisher, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting eXtend Inc.(the folks behind Side Kicks!) and localized by PQube, BUSTAFELLOWS is an addictive crime drama that mixes together mystery, intrigue, and steamy romance with not one, but five dangerous men. Dive into the seedy city streets of New Sieg as Teuta, a rookie reporter as she crosses paths with Limbo and his associates, the Fixers a group of not so squeaky clean men who work outside of the law to exact their own sense of justice.
The publisher asked that we not share any story points after chapter one, so this will be a largely spoiler free review—everything I mention is revealed in the Chapter 1—besides, why deny you the chance to uncover the mystery for yourself?!
Nekopara – Catboys Paradise is proof that if you wish hard enough, dreams really do come true! What started as a 2019 April Fool’s Day joke by Japanese publisher NekoWorks has been made into an actual game—live out all your catboy fantasies in this fun otome release! After your grandfather passes away you inherit his café, a daunting task to say the least, but with the help of four handsome catboy trainees… maybe you’ll be able to make it work!

Exclusively Yours is the latest Otome Romance title to make its way to the Love 365 app. In the game you play as a young woman who is mistaken for her twin sister—a glamorous Executive Assistant at an elite advertising agency. Now she has to fake it till she makes it in the cutthroat business world… an exciting romance awaits!
I kind of fell off the Voltage bandwagon, a little while ago, but this newest release gave me nostalgic flashbacks to one of their older titles, Office Secrets. So I figure what’s the harm in playing through the prologue… and I dunno, I kinda like it. Exclusively Yours: An Office Affair was originally released in 2011 in Japan, so it seems Voltage is giving some of their older titles a fresh coat of paint in the Love 365 app and I’m here for it! So, I sat down and played the prologue for Exclusively Yours and as always, I have some thoughts…
