Publisher PQube launched the KEMCO dark comedy visual novel, Death Match Love Comedy on console and PC! Blending sharp comedy with dark occult influences, the game draws on religious, historical, and mythological ideas to create a world where romance can be genuinely life-threatening.
Players follow Kei, a high school student cursed with an absurdly deadly fate: if someone confesses their love to him, he explodes. To survive, Kei must unravel the origins of the curse while exploring a bizarre supernatural underworld, relying on the support of his friends and his own quick thinking.
Despite the danger, Death Match Love Comedy! never loses its sense of humor. Kei’s optimism and self-awareness carry him through encounters with curses, rituals, and otherworldly threats, turning even the most horrific moments into comedic masterpieces.
