Hey there Blerdy Tribe, it has been one hell of a year, but I hope you guys are all hanging in there! September was a busy month for me since I moved to a new apartment and I am ready for things settle down… however, it looks like that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. This was also the month that I said goodbye to my 20’s and you know what it’s kinda surreal… I feel exactly the same as I did BEFORE my birthday hit.
I mentioned that I was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion with the Manga Mavericks Podcast discussing what it’s like being a Black nerd and I HAD A BLAST!! I got to talk and laugh with so many other talented Black nerdy content creators, so definitely give the episode a listen: Manga Mavericks EP. 133: “Black Representation in Anime/Manga”. I have even more neat stuff coming in October, but before that, let’s look back at the month of September here on Blerdy Otome!!

I like to think that I’m not a gal that cries easily. Sure, I’m human, I get emotional sometimes, but it takes a lot to get me to actually cry, and not just a few stray tears, but like ugly cry. A story so heartbreakingly beautiful that you can’t help but let all your emotions just spill over.
