You don’t have to break the bank to enjoy your hobbies, so save a little bread and check this week’s thrifty gaming picks!
Enamored Risks (2020) – Crystal Game Works

Alex is a college student studying nursing and recently freed from her unbearable helicopter parents. Far from home and trying to get through classes as quickly as possible, she’s grown burnt out and quite lonely. However, she hears about a mysterious social media account filled with images of ruined buildings, rooftop views, and rooms trapped in time, framed by a challenge:
“Feeling adventurous? Come find us.”
Her curiosity piqued, a spark of rebellious energy stirs within her. She sets out to find the origins of the photos and finds three urban explorers, each of them unearthing something new and unfamiliar in her heart.

Enamored Risks is a short romance visual novel developed for the one month game jam NaNoRenO 2020. Play as Alex, a female college student, and choose from three unique love interests—two male: Finn & Paxton, and one female: Zaina. Make choices that help determine the outcome of each route and unlock two CGs per route.
Red-Handed Robin (2020) – HitOrMissy

“All aboard the Whirlwind Express, the first ever train to connect the capital cities of Zephyr and Gales! Officially the most luxurious train in the world, no expense was spared on this ground-breaking maiden voyage. With one of our private luxury cabins, you’ll be traveling in style as we make history on this cross-country trip!”
When career thief Robin comes across a boarding pass for the Whirlwind Express, she thinks she’s found a literal ticket to freedom. With a case full of stolen jewelry and her loyal bodyguard at her side, she’s ready to flee the country in style…
That is, until she runs into her childhood friend turned detective. Though he doesn’t appear to recognize her, he keeps her under an annoyingly watchful eye anyway.
Will Robin be able to keep her lies straight and make it off the train with the goods? Or will her cover be blown, along with her escape plan?

Red-Handed Robin is a GxB romance visual novel that was developed for NaNoRenO 2020. Hit Or Missy plans on releasing the game in two parts, and at this time only part one is available. There are two love interests to choose from—Wren and Jay. Players can enjoy over an hour of gameplay, with four endings total (2 good and 2 bad).
Cafe in the Clouds (2020) – Cafe Nemo
Cost: Free
When the curtain of the night lifts, a sleepy town wakes by the gentle glow of morning. The townsfolk go about their days, shedding the patchwork quilt of a night’s myriad of dreams. However… When the townsfolk fall in a deep slumber once more, the visions of night come out to play.
The troubled fear how their nighttime tales will unfold. Luckily, in a quiet corner of the town lies Café Nemo. A cozy café that greets anyone who visits with a warm meal and a warmer atmosphere.

Cafe in the Clouds is a short yuri point and click puzzle game that was developed for NaNoRenO 2020. Interact with cute characters and collect items and ingredients to create the ultimate dish! Gameplay can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and features several fun and challenging puzzles to complete.
