Unofficial Hiatus Over!!- Seriously This Time…

Hey Hey Heroes, Travelers, and Wandering NPCs!! I know it has been awhile since I put out content here on Nice Job Breaking It Hero and for that I want to apologize. Life has been really hectic on my end between job hunting, writing for MANGA.TOKYO, running my Etsy shop, and just plain old apathy towards gaming in general, I just have not had the time to prioritize my blog.

I meant to come back to this blog much sooner than this, but, one thing led to another and now it’s August! 2018 is winding down and I just haven’t been as active as I once was and it doesn’t help that I just kind of dropped off the face of the planet either (not that I was all that great at keeping up with comments in the first place).

But, I needed the time away to reflect, because if I’m being honest, at the rate I was going before, I was getting pretty burned out on gaming and blogging. My heart just wasn’t in it anymore and it stopped being fun, something I never wanted to happen! So, after taking some time to myself I’ve decided to give blogging another go, this time though, I’m going at my own pace.

I started this blog because I wanted to talk about my interests with other people that liked the same things I did, and somewhere along the way it became a chore… So, while my “hiatus” is over, I’m not going to drive myself nuts trying to get reviews out every single day of the week (that is unless I absolutely feel like it). Also, I have a lot of game requests that I have to get through, so bear with me while I bang those out, because they take priority, since the devs took the time out to share their games with me. I’ll also be going back and responding to comments, so don’t be surprised if you see a reply for a comment you left months ago. I saw it when you wrote it, I just couldn’t get to it back then.

Expect new posts to start rolling out next week, I’m going to Otakon this weekend and I’m participating in a crafts fair this week, so my weekend is gonna be kind of busy.

But, before I disappear back into the abyss, I wanna thank you guys for bearing with me these past few months, while I got my stuff together… Your support and kind words really meant a lot to me, especially those of you I talk with on a regular basis.
