Loan Wolf

  • Genre: Girls Love | Fantasy | Romance
  • Cost: Name Your Own Price
  • Where to Play: Windows, Mac, Linux

Laika, an overworked werewolf slaving away at a tech-support desk, is having a hard time navigating her budding relationships between full moons. Between her long-suffering nymph best friend and a new succubus co-worker, Laika finds life turning a whole new level of complicated. Suddenly, student loans seem like easy mode.

-Synopsis

Lone Wolf is a short GxG fantasy visual novel that was originally created for Yuri Jam 2016. Each of the characters, including the protagonist, Laika,  are based on supernatural beings, despite being a slice of life story. There are two female love interests, a nymph and a succubus with a total of FOUR unique endings.

Sweetest Monster

Sweetest Monster

“I love you for who you are. I’ve loved you from the moment I met you.”

Robin Hawkins is down on his luck. His relationship with his wife, Sally, is stagnating, and his daughter, Melody, no longer speaks to him.
Stuck in an unsatisfying and draining job, Robin’s life is one long, monotonous slog…
Until he meets the mysterious girl of his dreams in the middle of the night, Bell.
However, there is far more to Bell than meets the eye – and Robin’s ‘dreams’ are fast in danger of becoming ‘nightmares’.

-Synopsis

Sweetest Monster is a short kinetic novel, unlike visual novels that feature various story altering choices and a branching narrative, this game features a linear gameplay experience. This game may not be suitable for some audiences as it includes some nudity, sexual situations, and some fanservice.

Natchigal

Nachtigal

  • Publisher: Cyanide Tea
  • Genre: Supernatural | Fantasy | Romance
  • Cost: Name Your Own Price
  • Where to Play: Windows, Mac, Linux | Steam

Nachtigal tells the story of Miranda Namatgira, a bright college student who travels to Belgium for a holiday. One evening, she loses track of time while sight-seeing and becomes lost in the woods. Just as she’s about to consider camping outdoors for the night, Miranda happens upon a hauntingly beautiful castle. She decides to venture inside, but nothing could have prepared her for the bloody sight she beholds there…or for the two vampires who capture her.

-Synopsis

Nachtigal is a short supernatural visual novel with two pursuable vampire love interests and a total of SIX endings (three per love interest). This game does contain Bad Endings which contain a bit of gore and some violent situations, so it may not be suitable for some audiences!

    1. It really good definitely worth looking into (though they all are 😛 ) Name your price is just a passive way of asking for donations, though most folks just opt to just get the game for free…

      1. YES!! Definitely! I’m all for supporting indie game devs!! There are some really great underrated indie games out there!

  1. Ahhh Lone Wolf sounds so interesting. Game Jams are the best.

Thanks for sharing your lists as usual, Naja! I know it’s quite a bit of effort to do so and I really appreciate that you consistently do it each week.

Gush about cute otome boys~
