TGIF! Here we are again with another Fangirl Friday! This week I’m doing things a little differently. Usually I pick something I watched or read over the past week and I shine a spotlight on it, but this week I didn’t really watch or read anything… that is until this afternoon, when a dear friend of mine shared something so beautiful, so spectacularly wonderful that I just had to share it!! It started innocently enough, two friends catching up, nothing out of the ordinary… and then Leaf showed me something magical! This single video spoke to my fangirl heart like no other video has done before… well, not since LeetStreet Boys’ Imaginary Boys…
This song, no, this entire video is an ode to the fangirl heart and her love of 2D men! This song is about a love so grand, it becomes an obsession and that is how I feel about 2D anime boys… Okay, I’m laying it on thick… This video is hilarious, plain and simple! I think I laughed for a good ten minutes after the video was over and then I immediately replayed it over and over again!
But, after I calmed down and my laughter subsided a bit, I started to actually listen to the lyrics and you know what, they were surprisingly accurate! This song perfectly encapsulates the feelings of a anime fangirl… the passion, the obsession… It’s a fun video with an interesting message, and even if you aren’t a fan of anime boys, at least you’ll get a good laugh out of it!
