Oh my gosh, the second to last post, I can’t believe I actually pulled off 29 consecutive Anime Challenge posts so far… I thought I’d have slipped up by now, but it never happened! So, today I’m supposed to talk about an anime that I wished was real…
I’m not much of a fighter, so my pick isn’t Naruto or Bleach or anything like that… I considered a reverse harem anime, because why not… but, stringing along all those bishies at once just seems like a lot more work than I want to deal with. So I went with something that I’ve been hoping for since I was eight years old! So, my pick for an anime that I wish were real is…
My go to choice would have to be Pokemon! I think the only thing I wanted more than for Pokemon to be real was a letter of acceptance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (I think my letter got lost in the mail or something)… With the recent Pokemon Go mobile app I have been able to realize that dream to some degree, but not in the ways I imagined (eh, but close enough).
For as long as I can remember I always wanted to live out the events of the show. I wanted so badly to visit a Pokemon Professor so that I could receive my first Pokemon, preferably a Charmander or a Cyndaquil… Then I could set out on my journey with my Pokemon companions by my side, nothing but open road ahead of me. Ah, think of all the battles and friendships that would be forged as I blazed my way to the Pokemon League.
The idea of catching Pokemon and battling other trainers just seemed like so much fun. No responsibility; just you, your Pokemon, and your journey… Even as an adult I would give just about anything to travel the world in search of new Pokemon, I’d just have to get in shape first…lol

We’ve been on the same wavelength lately, haha. I was going to say Pokemon as well, and talk about how Pokemon GO has come quite a way in making it real! I think if Pokemon were real, it would probably be really dangerous though, so there’d have to be some kind of safeguard so we’re not constantly being electrocuted by Pikachu or burned by Charizard…

I know what you mean, Pokemon would be super dangerous. I still remember that Ash needed rubber gloves to handle Pikachu in the beginning of the series…
This is the same episode where he and a group for people including his mom were electrocuted a bunch of times. Also, legendaries would just be apocalyptic, haha.
Imagine running into Mewtwo and getting smacked into a wall by one of its psychic attacks. 😮 and that doesn’t even cover the fire types lol
Any of the legendary birds would be actually scary to meet in real life. These are flying creatures that shoot out fire, ice, and electricity. And yea, Mewtwo and any psychic Pokemon really, could do any number of things to mess with people.
Hahah Pokemon is a good choice.
Who doesn’t want Pokemon IRL? Although I’d choose Sailor Moon for peace and long lifespans in Crystal Tokyo.

Yup, I thought about Death Note, but the more I wrote the more work I realized being Kira would actually be. So I scrapped that idea and went with my first love, Pokemon
I agree with you. Pokemon would be 2x times great if Pokemon was actually real in this world. I enjoy catching them with Pokemon Go :).

Ah if only they were real!! But I love pokemon go, which is probably as close as I’m going to get lol! I’m actually going to a Pokemon go meet up tomorrow which should be fun!!

Anime I wish was real, hmmmmmmm. I don’t think I wish any anime to be real, in fact I like it because it’s both real and unreal in the way I need to distract from reality and get a time of rest from my thoughts and worries (☆^ー^☆)
