Here we are the final 10 posts of the 30 Day Anime Challenge, so let’s get the ball rolling with Day 21, My favorite goofy character from an anime. Okay so I’m going to take some liberties with this prompt by picking a character that isn’t necessarily goofy, but has still given me a good laugh!
This one is from the Spring 2016 Anime season…which I realize makes my choice kind of obvious. This character isn’t goofy per se, instead they are ridiculously over the top in their way of doing thing, making them one of the most unintentionally hilarious anime characters I have seen in a long time. So my pick for my favorite goofy character from an anime is…
The coolest guy in high school, Sakamoto from the Spring 2016 anime series Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto (Sakamoto desu ga?). Yeah I went there… I don’t think I have ever laughed so much while watching an anime series. I don’t really have the words to describe just what makes this guy hilarious, so I’m going to take the easy way out and subject you to some hilarious Sakamoto clips:
Sakamoto is so over your pettiness

I still need to see Sakamoto! I heard so many good things about it, and this post just further proves that I’d enjoy it! This is a tough choice for me, but I’ll have to go with one from an anime that already has quite a few goofballs: One Piece. In particular, I like the goofiest crewmate, Usopp. His long nose is no coincidence. He constantly lies, deceives, and tricks others. That’s how he wins some of his fights! He’s silly, but I love that Oda still gives him such dramatic and action-packed roles along with the rest of the crew. This is part of why I love One Piece so much!
I do want to watch this but so many ORZ
As for chars…I’m drawing a blank, but I like characters full of life and that spazz, like Watanuki (from XxxHolic) and such~
I never watched this anime but I heard this guy was funny. He looks too serious to be doing this silly stuff XD.
Oh, it’s hilarious! Ikr, that’s part of his charm lol
I just can’t take him serious. I don’t know why but it’s really silly. :p
