[Update] Jobs, Game Clubs, and Blogging

Hello Heroes and Travelers! After two 14 hour bus rides, I’m back from my trip home! My little bro’s graduation was awesome and it was nice to spend time with my family over the 3-Day weekend! Since then I have been busy, remember the job I told you guys about? Well, I was offered an even better position at the same place, and after a short follow up interview last Thursday…I got it!! The new position is a bit longer than the last, and I’ll actually be running statistics and compiling reports of the project’s data as it comes in from participants…Which is really very exciting for me!

In more exciting news, I, along with three other WordPress bloggers (Cas, Cat, and Anny) have formed a Gaming Club! We basically choose a game to play as a group and then set a completion date. Upon completion we sit down and discuss our thoughts and feelings about the game on LINE. So far, the group has played through two games (One Billion Rupiah Girl and Starry Sky in Spring) and we just started Norn9, though I’m not gonna start playing that until later on in the summer…. Anyway, I’m telling you this because we would like to spread the word about our group and maybe even recruit some new members…

So, because I have been busy getting my paperwork and stuff ready for the new job, and the fact that I didn’t play as much over the Memorial Day weekend as I would have liked, I am still severely behind with my playthroughs and reviews…

But wait, before everyone starts hitting the unfollow button and sharpening their pitchforks…As of this writing I have most of this week’s posts done, save for the Seduce Me 2 Review. I only have Damien and Diana’s routes left so I can possibly still finish the review up by Monday for you guys. But, no promises… I’m not especially enthusiastic about these last two routes and I may have to take a crap ton of breaks just to get through it all. I also finished two Voltage reviews (one Mini Review and one Individual Review) for Bad Boys Do It Better. I plan on playing through two more routes for the game and writing reviews for them by next week…I want to get them all out at the same time, so I’m holding them all back until week of June 12th. I also have all of the Fangirl Moments for the rest of June finished and scheduled. Which I will post in the following order: Animated Film, BL Manga, TV Show. I also have some book related Fangirl Moments posts in the works for July so keep an eye out for those…

So ya’ll are probably wondering, what do I have ready for this week? Well, a review for Hydra’s sub story Private Lies and the Week’s Fangirl Moment… If I can’t get my review of Seduce Me 2 done by Monday, it should be out sometime later on in the week…it’s about 85% done right now…

I did make some changes to the top menu for this week:

1. I added a tab for the Game Club that links directly to the club’s main blog, so you guys can get to it from here.
2. I created sub headings for the Fangirl Moment tab, by topic (ie. Anime, Manga, etc) so that you guys can find the posts that you want no problem. I did not separate out the BL stuff, because that seemed like overkill. However you can still get to the Fangirl Moment Master list by simply clicking the Fangirl Moments on the top menu.
3. Finally, I made the Rants tab a sub heading of the Ramblings tab.

This week’s poll is the same as last week: When do you typically read game reviews?  Since this is a gaming blog, I was curious about when you guys read my reviews…and thus this poll was born!! Let me know by voting! The poll will be open until next Saturday at 11:59PM!  You can find it in the side bar (or if you are using a phone/tablet @ the bottom of the page). So that’s it for the updates, please  know that I am still working very hard to get everything out to you guys in a timely manner! I really love blogging and the WordPress community has been super supportive since the beginning.
